In an alternate 1930's Mississippi, six BIPOC witches team up to compete in illegal broom races to better their lives in a place where the laws are made to keep them down. Brooms centers on the bonds of friendships, new and old, and the strength they provide. It's 1930s Mississippi. Magic is permitted only in certain circumstances, and by certain people.
