Book description
IMPORTANT: Ensure that the book you're purchasing features on the cover: "NEW audio QR Codes and links" or, when reviewing sample pages, the first page specifies: "This reading book includes the NEW QR CODES for the audio version." Most crucially, verify that the QR Code for the first chapter begins with https: //qrco.de/. If the links initiate with https: //chirb.it, the audio will NOT function. Please be aware that buying a used book, or purchasing from certain vendors; may result in receiving a book with outdated QR codes with NO audio. This is why it is necessary to check what is mentioned above. This reading program is intended for elementary Spanish learners. The vocabulary has been carefully selected to align with introductory Spanish textbooks, covering appropriate vocabulary selections and grammar tenses. This easy Spanish reader is enhanced with QR codes in all chapters to effectively accomplish the simultaneous combination of reading and listening to Spanish. The cognitive process of assimilating and comprehending the language is enhanced when the audio is played while the student reads. This approach proves highly effective for Spanish learners as well as heritage learners who are familiar with words but struggle with writing Spanish. Both the paperback and Kindle editions include QR codes that can be scanned using a different device to play the audio simultaneously while reading the story. If you prefer not to be scanning QR codes, the book is also available as an audiobook on Audible, allowing for easy reading while listening. The book offers readers an enjoyable way to practice the language while learning about the adventures of a student who wins a trip to Spain. It is the first book in the 'Buen Camino' series. The main character embarks on 'El Camino de Santiago' pilgrimage, starting from Roncesvalles, located near the Pyrenees on the border with France, and walking all the way to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. In this first-level book, the story begins as the character prepares and starts the trip, sharing the experience. The vocabulary, commonly known as objects in the classroom, is practically and engagingly applied when reading about what the character needs to pack for the trip and to keep a journal. As the main character is a student from the United States experiencing Spain for the first time, readers easily identify with the difficulties and situations the character encounters. The use of present tense regular verbs, stem-changing verbs, reflexive verbs, and vocabulary related to common learning objectives are incorporated in this introductory book. The total audiobook length is 54 minutes. This book is a valuable resource for reviewing content at the end of the semester or for someone wanting to practice and enhance their learning. It can also be used while doing the pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago.Ultimately, there is a course based on El Camino de Santiago, including the text, the audio, practice activities and quizzes.
