About the Author
Fred Tornager is a comics artist whose work is primarily inspired by shonen manga and western cartoon series. Born in Colombia and raised Denmark, she attended The Animation Workshop in Jutland, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in graphic storytelling. Fred works on multiple comics simultaneously, including her quarterly manga series Gunhild, a Nordic mythology adventure published in Saturday AM's digital magazine Saturday BRUNCH. Her first Danish cartoon, My Night With You, a YA graphic short story, was published in 2020. In 2021, Fred won the Best Newcomer award, a.k.a. the Claus Deleuran Comic Debut award. Saturday AM is a unique digital comics brand featuring an ever-growing catalog of popular, exclusive and diverse action manga-style webcomics by independent creators from around the world.
